Sticks and stones cause broken bones
They said words can never hurt

It wasn't true
And the more they lied the more we died inside

Dawnbreaker

Shards of sun
It still shown after the day was done
Left trails of light where once there were none
And then my foes were gone

Then as I felt darkness blind me, mantle of starless night
I knew that no shadow would bind me, fragments of burning might

In the dark, I thought I glimpsed the hope I had left behind
Found my way and tread into another eternal day
