Rhyme

Sticks and stones cause broken bones
They said words can never hurt

It wasn't true
And the more they lied the more we died inside

Every day we bled every day we fought
Every day we built our walls

And now we're empty our hearts are numb
And we feel nothing at all

Short poem

Dawnbreaker

Shards of sun
It still shown after the day was done
Left trails of light where once there were none
And then my foes were gone

Then as I felt darkness blind me, mantle of starless night
I knew that no shadow would bind me, fragments of burning might

In the dark, I thought I glimpsed the hope I had left behind
Found my way and tread into another eternal day

Fanfiction

I would not have thought I would have started writing fanfiction for this and certainly not for this series, but the ideas come and they don't leave. So, I figure I should do something with them.

Anyway, here's the links!

Aibou

Bakura had always had little to brief contact with his host and Ryou is content to keep it that way...until one day the thief proposes that they play a game with stakes that are too tempting to refuse. Not that Ryou has a choice anyway. Rated M for possible violence later. YB/RB

Soul of Red Eyes

Can the past fix the present? All Jounouchi wanted was to defeat his long time rival, Seto Kaiba. But he may have bitten off more than he could chew when he took something that wasn't his. Now he's trapped in a time very different from his and may not be able to get home...

Into Oblivion

The Rending Hall
The tower gate
A patch of of red sky
Call of fate
Rain doesn't fall

But the storm does spread
On my flesh and bones
My foes wait to be fed

My blood is ice
My birth right is snow
I am not their unwitting sacrifice

My ancestors call to me from Sovengarde
Rise up Nord
Our strength is your sword

Defiant

Okay I said I was post writings here, so here we go. This isn't the first poem I've written, but it's the only one I consider successful. And believe or not, I wrote it in a bathroom stall at work when I was feeling depressed.

Defiant

We are many we are scarred
We live on even marred

Wear my armor over my gown
We are lost we are found

We go on we endure
We stand up we are sure

When we give in that's our sin
Don't give in rewrite the end

Awake we fight not to drown
In our dreams we have renown

Outside the box we meet trouble
But we still rise from the rubble

Never safe outside the bubble
We're still defiant we don't grovel

The rains wash away the strife
Break these chains live our life

We made it back through the storm
Our hands are free our hearts are warm

Food Fail

I know I should not have done it , but I was hungry and did not have the energy to cook:. Ipicked up some McDonalds at 2 a.m after work.. I like to get a crispy chicken sandwich every now and then. I usually ask for sweet and sour sauce to put on my sandwich because I'm weird like that. Usually they give me one no problem. That woman wanted me to fork over an additional 45 cents for a pack of sauce. Really? I already payed six dollars and whateverthefuck already for my meal. Seriously? For a pack of sauce? I know we are in recession, but come on.

Also, Kellogg's new cereal Krave? Seriously nasty. How they messed something up with chocolate mystifies me, but they did. It taste like stale card board. Avoid this cereal.

Interestingly enough my cousin's girlfriend told me about a smoothie called Skinny Green Monster. It's supposed to have spinach, peanut butter and greek yogurt and yes, actually be quite good. I am thinking of trying this out. It cannot be worse than that cereal. (I still can't get over how bad it was.) But hey, spinach!  I like spinach. And there's not many veggies I like. Next Wal-Mart run I will remember to get the things I need to try it out.
